The black plate includes visible water cutouts, complemented by a black painted solid wood frame. Plus, it comes with a wood texture wall mounting bracket for easy installation.

The model I ordered, the nine square version of Los Angeles, has exquisite detail and looks great either on a horizontal plane or mounted vertically. I have mine mounted vertically. It is both a work of art and a reference point for my interest in the urban core of my home city. The model arrived well packaged and in excellent condition and the packing is reusable, should I need to move the model.
